| Guided “green” tours of the “Bright World of Metals” The four international technology trade fairs GIFA (International Foundry Trade Fair), METEC (International Metallurgical Trade Fair), THERMPROCESS (International Trade Fair for Thermo Process Technology) and NEWCAST (International Trade Fair for Precision Castings) with more than 2,200 exhibitors and almost 87,000 square metres of stand space are being held in Düsseldorf from 16. to 20. June 2015. Visitors from all over the world will be coming to the city on the River Rhine for five days at this time to focus on castings, foundry technology, metallurgy and thermo process technology. A programme of high-quality additional events will again be taking place alongside the trade fairs, involving seminars, international congresses and lecture series. All four trade fairs and the programmes co-ordinated with them will be concentrating on the issue of energy and resource efficiency. The ecoMetals Trail provides guided "green" tours of GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST 2015. The Trail shows visitors the way to the participants in the ecoMetals campaign and thus take them directly to the innovative sustainable technologies that are being presented by the exhibitors. The place to meet and go on the Trail at 11.00 on 16., 17., 18. and 19. June is the ecoMetals counter on the "Bright World of Metals" trade press stand at the North Entrance to the Düsseldorf exhibition site. The tour guides Julia and Marius will be waiting here to accompany visitors to the stands of the ecoMetals exhibitors. It will be easy to recognise the guides even at a distance thanks to the blue T-shirts they will be wearing and their caps with the fluorescent green text "ecoMetals Trails" on them. They will be informing their groups about the ecoMetals campaign in German and English before starting the two-hour tour. It goes from the METEC Halls 4 and 5 with Silvent AB, Achenbach Buschhütten GmbH and Tenova to the THERMPROCESS Halls 9 and 10 with GoGas Goch, Linn High Term and celano. After this, the Trail moves on to the GIFA Halls 11 and 12 with Colosio, Oskar Frech, Italpresse Industrie, Ing. Rauch Fertigungstechnik, ASK Chemicals, Foseco Foundry Division – Vesuvius, GTP Schäfer and Hüttenes-Albertus Chemische Werke. The next stop is then in the NEWCAST Hall 13 at the National Association of the German Foundry Industry and the company Matthies Druckguss. The Trail continues in Halls 15 to 17 with visits to the GIFA exhibitors Rampf Tooling Solutions, Didion International, Kurz, Kuka Roboter, Loramendi, DISA Industries, Heinrich Wagner Sinto Maschinenfabrik and Jöst. Experts will be available on the trade fair stands to present their companies' energy efficiency and resource minimisation technologies and to answer visitors' questions. The ecoMetals Trail gives professionals an opportunity to obtain a comprehensive insight into the latest technical developments and their practical applications within a short period of time, while still leaving enough time beforehand and afterwards to visit other exhibitors. Anyone who would like to join Julia and Marius on the "green" Trail can register on the trade fair websites www.gifa.de, www.metec.de, www.thermprocess.de and www.newcast.de and at the same time buy their trade fair ticket from the online ticket shop for a price of € 45.00 for a one-day ticket and € 98.00 for a five-day ticket and print the ticket out at home.
