| Successful events for growing beauty and personal care industry worldwide NürnbergMesse is expanding its international event range for the cosmetic, toiletry and fragrance (CT&F) production industry and the home and personal care ingredients markets. The market for beauty and personal care products, especially cosmetic, toiletry and fragrance (CT&F), is growing internationally. There is a rising demand on all continents, with Brazil and India being particularly dynamic. According to the Brazilian Association of the Industry of Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics (ABIHPEC) Brazil is currently the third biggest market for CT&F worldwide, after USA and China, with 43 billion US dollars in consumer sales. CT&F currently makes up almost two percent of Brazil's gross domestic product. The market has grown by 10 per cent on average over the last ten years, a trend that is expected to continue. Following the recent assumptions of the clinical research centre Mascot Spincontrol India, the Indian market's potential for growth is even higher than that of Brazil. A huge increase of 90 per cent is expected within the next four years in a market that is already valued at 4.8 billion US dollars. To support the knowledge exchange in those regions, NürnbergMesse has established trade fairs that focus on the rising demand of the industry. 20th edition of FCE Cosmetique in Brazil FCE Cosmetique in São Paulo, Brazil, is an important pillar of NürnbergMesse's international trade fair portfolio. This year, the event is celebrating its 20th birthday with an expected number of more than 17, 000 visitors for both FCE Cosmetique and its partner event FCE Pharma. From 12th to 14th of May, exhibitors and visitors will exchange once again ideas and trends of cosmetic production in areas ranging from raw materials and fine chemicals to machinery, packaging and quality testing of cosmetics. "The size and the potential of the Brazilian CT&F market are substantial, " says Ligia Amorim, managing director NürnbergMesse Brazil. "This is why FCE Cosmetique is a valuable knowledge and business platform not only for the Brazilian industry but also for international companies and guests." Exhibitors from all over the world regularly cover the whole production chain. Globally leading companies such as BASF, Evonik, Merck, Ashland, Clariant underline the importance of FCE Cosmetique as the leading business platform in the strongly growing Latin American cosmetic industry. A new trade fair cooperation for India's fast growing market Home and Personal Care Ingredients India IN COOPERATION WITH The Care Chemicals Convention (HPCI-CCC) is the second pillar of NürnbergMesse's international CT&F competence. The new trade fair cooperation, between ExpoNova Exhibitions and Conferences (India), the publisher Verlag für chemische Industrie (SOFW) and NürnbergMesse India, held its premiere in Mumbai in March. With this fusion, NürnbergMesse established a platform that covers the entire industry of formulation and manufacture of home and personal care products and aromatic substances and scents. With 176 exhibitors and 2,516 visitors HPCI and its new co-show Care Chemicals Convention (CCC) held a successful premiere from 4th to 5th March at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. "The trade fair was a perfect opportunity for visitors to find out more about innovative ingredients for formulating effective cosmetic and home care products, " states Sonia Prashar, managing director NürnbergMesse India. "The ISCC Conference alongside the HPCI-CCC India 2015 exhibition organized together with the Indian Society of Cosmetic Chemists provided important information for producers about safe innovations." The integration of the CCC to HPCI is due to the rising number of young, middle-class people, who create major demand for care products. As a result, the demand for special chemicals and ingredients has also increased, which in turn has made the CCC a natural addition to this knowledge-intensive sector in India. write your comments about the article :: © 2015 Exhibition News :: home page |
