| PARTEC 2016: Congress launches Call for Papers  It's now the green light for PARTEC 2016, the International Congress on Particle Technology: the recently announced Call for Papers means that the experts in the sector have to submit their contributions on the main congress themes in 2016. The search is on for current research results and new methods, practical examples and exceptional projects from industry, science and research. The top-ranking know-how platform will be held from 19th to 21st April 2016 parallel to POWTECH 2016 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre.The congress, which is held every three years, picks up current themes in the particle technology field and is the largest international forum for the professional exchange between experts from science and industry. The Chairman of PARTEC 2016 is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hermann Nirschl, Dean of Research and Head of the Institute for Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Among others, he presides over the PARTEC Executive Committee, which in its capacity as specialist jury, checks and scrutinises all submissions in terms of their content and scientific quality. The contributions required are both industry-specific as well as application-orientated proposals from the most diverse areas of application in the particle technology sector, such as for example pharmaceuticals, life & food science or energy technology. Among others the following themes will feature at PARTEC 2016: (Nano)-Structured Materials Interface-Controlled Processes Applications of Particle Technology Particles and Energy Modelling and Simulation Life & Food Science Particles in Contact and Processing Particles from Renewable Materials Pharmaceutical Particles You can find a complete list of the possible themes at www.partec.info/topics.
