| New B2B area to strengthen Musikmesse as the platform for the musical-instrument trade A new level of business quality: for the first time, Musikmesse in Frankfurt from 15 to 18 April 2015 will offer a B2B area reserved exclusively for registered trade visitors. Centrally located in Hall 4.1, this special area will permit the concentration of discussions with sales, marketing and suppliers in one place and in a quiet atmosphere. Exhibitors can book exhibition space in the B2B area in addition to their exhibition stand in the product halls or for use as a separate office at the fair. Thanks to the closed stand design, low-key branding and no loud product demonstrations, all concerned will find the optimum environment for constructive discussions. Also contributing to the business-friendly ambience in the B2B area will be a large reception counter with Musikmesse hostesses and a stylish catering area. The Tulip Club, the VIP Lounge for the sector's top buyers, is also in the immediate vicinity. "With this conceptual development, we aim to strengthen further the position of Musikmesse as an important business platform for the sector. The B2B area is a focal point for business and the advantages are evident: short distances, easy to get from one meeting to the next and, at the end of the day, more time for business on all four days of the fair", says Cordelia von Gymnich, Vice President Consumer Goods and Entertainment of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. "Our objective is to make Musikmesse as attractive as possible for retailers – at the same time, we are well aware of the significance of the fair as a marketing tool and a platform for making contact with consumers. By setting-up a B2B area, we are giving exhibitors the opportunity to target different groups of visitors more individually than ever before and to exploit the potential of their participation in the fair to the full." Well-known companies have, already now, reserved their stands for the B2B area. Gerd Essl, Managing Director, Marketing, Accounting & Finance at GEWA music GmbH: "As partners in, and supporters of, an appropriately qualified, specialist wholesale and retail trade for musical instruments, we are delighted with this innovation in the concept of the trade fair. The area devoted exclusively to retailers and wholesalers provides us with the best possible space for discussions and meetings in the B2B context. In planning and designing our presentation areas we can at the same time concentrate even better on what really matters: imparting enthusiasm for our brands to music lovers!" B2B offices can be booked in various sizes as a complete package including furniture, carpet, lighting, etc. Additionally, there are special rates available for exhibitors who book an exhibition stand in both the B2B area and the product halls. The organisers are seeking to increase even further the appeal of Musikmesse for the sector's specialist wholesalers and retailers, through an exclusive package of benefits. More detailed information on this will be published shortly. Musikmesse is the International Trade Fair for Musical Instruments, Sheet Music, Music Production and Music Business Connections.
