| Florian 2014 in Dresden  Trade Fair for Fire Brigades, fire and disaster control, takes place October 16 - 18, 2014 in Dresden, Germany. The Florian 2014 is the only fire trade fair of the year all over Germany. Integrating the rescue service forum aescutec into Florian stands for our holistic approach to regard all rescue forces in this unique fair.The 14th Florian takes place the fifth time now in the county Saxony, the fifth time in the famous trade city Dresden, especial on the trade area Messe Dresden. The organizer achieves the competence of the Florian by dint of good cooperation with the respective National Associations and the professional advisory committee. The minister of the Interior of Saxony Markus Ulbig acts as the patron of the Florian 2014. The visitor's target groups of the Florian are policy makers from various government agencies at the state, city and community levels, members of professional and voluntary fire brigade departments, plant fire department, police, the armed forces, rescue service and relief organizations as well as sales representatives of professional authorities, executives and interested action forces from the active defense and the disaster management services. About 150 exhibitors from ten countries use the chance to offer them products and solutions in business segments like radio communication technology, flood water protection, fire protection, warning systems, NBC protection, respiratory protection, development and training, vehicles and equipment, medical technology, protective equipment/ clothing, rescue service clothing, parametic equipment and emergency medicines. Spectacular presentations and many interactive offers enriched the Florian 2014. Chronicle of the trade fair Florian The first Florian took place in 1997 in Dresden. From there on, the concept was successfully realized in Erfurt, Cottbus, Halle/Saale, Sinsheim and Karlsruhe. For this reason we guarantee our exhibitors a systematic development of the various geographical markets of Saxony, Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt, each with short access routes for the visitors.
