gamescom day tickets for private visitors after Saturday now sold out for Friday as well in the Online Shop

Only a few days to go before gamescom opens its doors to all (14-17 August 2014). Ticket sales for the world's largest event for interactive entertainment are running flat out. As things currently stand not just the trade fair Saturday but Friday as well is sold out. And tickets for the Thursday and Sunday are in short supply as well: only a few thousand are still available in the gamescom Ticket Shop. So anyone wishing to "discover new worlds through play", true to the leitmotif of this year's gamescom, should secure the appropriate day ticket for Thursday or Sunday in the ticket shop or at other advance booking outlets, such as Saturn. A residual allocation of day tickets for all public days is still available from Saturn, but only while stocks last.

The gamescom Ticket Shop can be reached at: http://www.gamescom-cologne.com/en/gamescom/fuer_alle/eintrittskartenneu/index.php
Anyone unable to secure a prebooked ticket for Friday and Saturday but who is unable to visit gamescom on any other day can make his way to the exhibition centre around midday. Afternoon tickets (admission from around 2:00 p.m. onward) are still available on-site for the Friday and Saturday. The admission however dependents on the flow of visitors, ie. emergence from the site. In addition, waiting times must be taken into account.

The situation for trade visitors is that tickets for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and the 3-day ticket as well, are still available in the Online Shop and at the ticket office on the day.

The tickets are same time tickets in the transport associations Rhein-Sieg (VRS) and Rhein-Ruhr (VRR). Anyone who has purchased a ticket in advance (discounted up to 25%) will receive at the fair grounds problem-free entry to the world's largest event and entertainment highlight. Hall 11 is again featured as an exclusive hall for owners of pre-sale tickets.
