Ethical Fashion Show Berlin 2014

So much more than simply a trade fair: Greenshowroom and the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin not only offer presentations by 122 eco-fashion labels but also first-class information and networking opportunities. With an extensive programme of events, the two trade fairs have become the centre of green fashion excellence at Berlin Fashion Week. Visitors and exhibitors can look forward to a series of fascinating events from 8 to 10 July 2014.

The official opening of the trade fairs with Inez Bjørg David, the actress and ambassador of the World Future Council, will take place at 10:00 on 8 July in the ewerk. The Ethical Fashion Show Berlin will then invite visitors to a Fashion Talk with Safia Minney, founder of People Tree. The highlight of the trade fair will take place on 9 July when selected exhibitors will present over 70 looks from their collections at the Salonshow in the ballroom of the Hotel Adlon Kempinski. The panel discussion "A common textile standard for social and ecological criteria?" will take place at the Create Green Breakfast in the ewerk in cooperation with Create Berlin on 10 July. This event is already hotly anticipated and will feature Daniela Zehentner-Capell from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Claudia Kersten from GOTS, Marisa Przyklenk from Fairtrade and will be chaired by freelance journalist Stefanie Hütz.
