28th Control with Strong Representation of Image Processing and Vision Systems

The Control international trade fair for quality assurance will take place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 6th through the 9th of May, 2014.

Industrial image processing is growing incessantly – and Schall continues to make trade fairs for markets! Against this backdrop, it's no wonder that the Control international trade fair for quality assurance will be able to augment its offerings with numerous new exhibitors from the high-tech field of image processing and vision systems in 2014. There are many reasons for strong growth in this highly promising, future-oriented sector. On the one hand, they involve the marketing strategies of manufacturers and distributors who are increasingly active at the international level, don't want to put too many irons into the fire and have selected control as their presentation and business platform, i.e. the original, world's leading event.

On the other hand, the fact that some of the competing events only deal with the issues of image processing and vision systems as a side-line also plays a role, because they don't provide a setting which covers the industrial process sequence. In contrast, with its time-tested product portfolio – which is also successively adapted to changing technical and business challenges – Control provides expert visitors with the assurance that they'll be able to gather information on all technologies, processes, components, modules, subsystems and complete solutions that are relevant for the key issue of QA. Whether stand-alone solutions or turnkey systems are required, the visions of global QA users are transformed into highly practical, and above all process-compatible reality at Control.

As a logical consequence, the condensed overview of nomenclature, which currently includes the fields of measuring technology, materials testing, analysis units, optoelectronics and QA systems, is being expanded with image processing and vision systems (although image processing products have always been an essential part of Control's nomenclature). Furthermore, a trade fair guide will be made available for the 28th Control in both printed and online format, which is dedicated specifically to offerings in the field of image processing and vision systems – ranging from basic components right on up to process-integrated complete solutions including automated robotics and material flow for efficient handling of test objects.

A new visitor information brochure with an innovative layout in A4 format, which goes beyond the trade fair guide that's matched specifically to the above mentioned sector, includes all hall floor plans with the respective trade fair booths on a clear-cut double page. This will make it possible for trade fair visitors to navigate through the range of offerings presented by nearly 1000 exhibitors in a targeted, time-optimised fashion. Those who wish to gather information covering theory and actual practice regarding other topics and solutions will have several opportunities for doing so: the special show on "Contactless Measuring Technology", the event forum entitled "Understanding and Experiencing Technology", "Quality Assurance and "Vision System" workshops, the "Networking is Quality" theme park and finally, the Control "Exhibitor Forum".
