Nordstil to be held in Hamburg for the second time in July

Following the successful première in January 2014, the new 'Nordstil – Hamburg Regional Order Days' will be held for the second time in the North German City from 26 to 28 July 2014. With four months still to go before the fair begins, more than 700 exhibitors have already registered and booked 90 percent of the exhibition space available in the halls. "The new Nordstil trade-fair concept has been given an extremely good reception by both exhibitors and visitors. I am particularly pleased to say that the second edition will continue the success story started by the first Nordstil in January", says Philipp Ferger, Head of Regional Consumer Goods Fairs, Messe Frankfurt. In January, over 800 exhibitors presented their latest trends and innovations to an expert audience of around 20, 000 trade visitors.

The figures speak for themselves: 91 percent of buyers were able to achieve their goals at Nordstil. Exhibitor feedback about the first event was also very good. "Altogether, 72 percent of exhibitors said they were satisfied with Nordstil and this is a very good result for a new event that was organised in just a few months. Our aim now is, of course, to maintain this level of satisfaction and lay the foundation for a successful tradition of Nordstil trade fairs in Hamburg", adds Philipp Ferger.

In July, buyers will also have the chance to discover creative variety, trends and innovations covering an area of 50, 000 square metres (gross) in the three tried and tested product sections: 'Ideas for Home and Lifestyle', 'Ideas for Work and Leisure' and 'Ideas for Well-being and Personal Accessories'. Among the companies taking part in next July's 'Ideas for Home and Lifestyle' will be Mossapour Interior Designs, Pad home design, Hoff Interieur, Porzellanfabriken Christian Seltmann and Pusteblume. To date, registrations for the 'Ideas for Work and Leisure' section have been received, inter alia, from Coppenrath Verlag, Grätz Verlag, Hansekind Kindermöbel & Accessoires, Donkey Products and Lilalu-Aachen. Among the companies to be represented in the 'Ideas for Home and Lifestyle' section will be Mertens Export-Import, Erfurt Design, Get fresh Cosmetics, Müller & Schmidt Pfeilringwerk and Veronika Simon.

Attractive programme of events and highlights at Nordstil
The programme of events at Nordstil will be a source of even more powerful impulses and creative variety. In the 'Northern Lights' presentation, young designers and artisan manufacturers will show their individual designs. This highlight in Hall A4 is being curated and designed by artistic craftsman and university lecturer Peter de Vries. The planning work on other events, such as the lecture programme, has already commenced.

Another attraction for buyers at January's Nordstil was undoubtedly the 'Village' where eleven exhibitors showed how to present products perfectly at the point of sale. Following this successful debut, visitors will also find creative ideas for product presentations in their shops under the 'Village' label at the next Nordstil – genuine value added presented by leading, design-oriented brand-name manufacturers.
