| Prolight + Sound launches exhibitor campaign The next Prolight + Sound will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 10 to 13 April 2013. The registration process for the world's biggest trade fair for the event sector is already in full swing and, by registering no later than 15 September 2012, exhibitors can profit from an early-booking discount of over ten percent. Prolight + Sound is the leading international trade fair of technologies and services for events, installation and production. At the last event in Frankfurt am Main earlier this year, 876 exhibitors from 41 nations presented their products and services to some 41,000 trade visitors. The exhibition halls occupied by the coming Prolight + Sound will be slightly changed compared to this year's fair. Thus, Hall 6.1 will no longer be used and the companies that previously exhibited there will be positioned in the appropriate product groups in Halls 8.0 and 9.1. Hall 9.1 will become part of Prolight + Sound in 2013 and house the 'International Sourcing – Light and Sound' product group. The organisers are streamlining the structure of Prolight + Sound to make it easier for visitors to find exhibitors by product groups. Moreover, with a series of conferences, presentations and visitor programmes, they aim to reinforce the leading position of Prolight + Sound as a business platform. Additionally, interdisciplinary product groups, such as production, broadcasting, recording, media technology and systems integration, will be made more tangible for visitors via individual marketing campaigns. Prolight + Sound is not only the biggest trade fair for the entertainment sector, it is also an important platform for gaining practical knowledge. The multi-faceted information events are not only optimally structured by subject and time but also held at the same location. Thus, Prolight + Sound gives visitors the chance to find out all at once about the latest products, technologies and services, as well as standards and legal issues affecting the sector. The event-entertainment sector will be represented at Prolight + Sound by the Eventplaza Conference for the second time running. Just how creative the event sector is when it comes to live and media entertainment is shown by the Live Entertainment Award (PRG LEA), which will once again open next year's Prolight + Sound and Musikmesse. write your comments about the article :: © 2012 Exhibition News :: home page |
