Automechanika in Frankfurt from 14 to 19 September 2010 – a record because never before in the history of Messe Frankfurt have so many different nations been represented at a single fair or exhibition in Frankfurt. Altogether, 4,400 exhibitors from 76 countries presented their latest trends and developments for the automotive aftermarket and supply industry on more than 305,000 square metres of exhibition space. Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre will also be fully occupied at the coming Automechanika from 11 to 16 September 2012.

At present, Messe Frankfurt holds twelve Automechanika fairs outside Germany. They are used by numerous companies to familiarise themselves with new markets, to make personal contacts and to expand their sales networks.

A new member of the Automechanika family of events is ACMA Automechanika New Delhi, which makes its debut in Halls 8, 9, 10 and 11 of Pragati Maiden exhibition centre from 7 to 10 February 2013.

The world's second biggest Automechanika fair is Automechanika Shanghai which is jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt Shanghai Co Ltd and the China National Automotive Industry International Corporation (CNAICO). The 2011 show took place from December 7 to 10 with more than 3,600 exhibitors from 36 countries, including first time exhibitors from Austria and the Philippines. The exhibitors displayed their products on 160,000 square metres of exhibition space. The show's three main product groups were parts & components, repair & maintenance as well as accessories & tuning. The next Automechanika Shanghai will take place from 11 to 14 December 2012. Around 3,900 have registered to take part on 12 percent more exhibition space than last year.

Automechanika Middle East celebrated its tenth anniversary from 22 to 24 May 2012 with two new records: a 20-percent increase in the space occupied and a total of 1, 300 companies from 55 countries. For many years, Dubai, the most important commercial centre for automobile parts and accessories, has attracted numerous trade visitors from the Middle East, Africa, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The next Automechanika Middle East is scheduled to take place in June 2013.

Automechanika St. Petersburg consolidated its position in the Automechanika calendar of events and, with ExpoForum, has gained a new, strong partner for the future. Held at the Lenexpo Fair and Exhibition Centre from 12 to 14 April 2012, the 19th Automechanika St. Petersburg attracted 3,000 trade visitors, the majority of them from Northwest Russia and the Baltic States. The next and eagerly awaited edition of the fair will be held in the new ExpoForum International Exhibition & Convention Centre.

In Turkey, automotive parts make up the leading export sector and, in line with this, Automechanika Istanbul is a long-running success. Since the première in 2001, this event, a joint venture of Messe Frankfurt and Hannover Messe International, has developed into Turkey's biggest and most international trade fair. The last event in 2011 was attended by more exhibitors and visitors than ever before with 1,099 exhibitors, 44 percent of them from outside Turkey, and around 36,000 visitors, 21 percent from outside Turkey, making their way to Istanbul for the fair. Covering 98,000 square metres of exhibition space (gross), Automechanika Istanbul 2011 occupied three more exhibition halls than the previous event in 2009. The next Automechanika Istanbul will be held in 2013.

Messe Frankfurt holds two Automechanika fairs on the American continent, Automechanika Argentina and PAACE Automechanika Mexico. With 474 exhibitors from 19 countries and around 20,600 trade visitors, PAACE Automechanika Mexico is one of the leading fairs for the automotive aftermarket in Latin America. Mexico is one of the world's most dynamic automobile markets and the Mexican government offers a favourable business climate for foreign investors. The next PAACE Automechanika will be held from 18 to 20 July 2012.

Similarly positive results were achieved by Automechanika Argentina, which has developed into the leading fair for the Mercosur region. It was held at the La Rural Trade Centre from 17 to 20 November 2010. Altogether 39, 896 visitors from 44 countries came to see the products and services presented by 542 exhibitors at the fully booked-up exhibition centre. Since making its debut in 2000, the fair has grown by 140 percent. Covering an area of 40, 000 square metres (gross), it is the third-biggest event within the Automechanika family of fairs and the most similar to Automechanika Frankfurt in terms of visual impact. The next Automechanika Argentina will be held again at the La Rural Trade Centre, from 14 to 17 November 2012.

In Moscow, Messe Frankfurt cooperates with ITE. In even years, the event is called 'MIMS powered by Automechanika Moscow' and, in odd years, ''Automechanika Moscow powered by MIMS'.
