| SAIE: Innovating, Integrating, Building SAIE, International Building Exhibition – 5-8 October 2011 in Bologna – is the annual reference event for the building industry, especially with regard to technological innovation, new products, and building systems and materials. SAIE devotes numerous initiatives to innovation in every industry sector: from the GUIDE TO NEW PRODUCTS (a selection of top new products on exhibition) to SAIE, A WINDOW ON THE FUTURE, which identifies (by means of a jury of experts) products on exhibit representing excellence in terms of innovation and experimentation. 27 products were selected in the last edition, based on four macroareas considered strategic for relaunching the industry: integrated design, sustainable design, recovery, and speed and facility of assembly in yards.
