| Education at JCK 2011 offers business-building topics JCK Las Vegas is offering an exciting line-up of educational sessions June 2-5, 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center's Tradewinds Ballrooms. Designed to reflect industry shifts experienced during the recession and now into the current recovery, the retail environment is ripe to receive inspired guidance and insight, according to Yancy Weinrich, JCK's Industry Vice President. On Friday, June 3rd, the opening keynote session, "Leading in the New Normal: How to Go from Survive to Thrive" will be presented by Chuck Bowling, President and Chief Operating Officer, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. Bowling will share the techniques, thinking and opportunities that prepare companies to take advantage of the economic recovery. On Saturday, June 4th, the Opening Keynote, "Trends in Jewelry Forecasting, " will be delivered by Paola De Luca, Co-Founder and Creative Director, TJF. This keynote will discuss cultural and societal changes and their effects on consumer attitudes and purchasing habits. A sneak peek of the upcoming jewelry trends, design directions, materials and colors will be revealed in this not-to-be missed presentation. The JCK Education program covers topics such as new sales and marketing insights; sales, staff & management training and customer, market & demographic trends while taking on significant topics such as Sustainability, Responsibility, Compliance and the Kimberley Process. JCK Las Vegas 2011 will take place on June 3-6 with LUXURY at JCK, to take place May 31-June 6, 2011 (preceding JCK Las Vegas by invitation - May 31- June 2) and Swiss Watch at JCK, to be held June 2-6, 2011 at its new venue - Mandalay Bay.
