DJ Tools Award honours DJ equipment at Musikmesse

Last year's première was a great success and Musikmesse Frankfurt and Elevator Future of Music are now holding the 2nd DJ Tools Award, 's premier distinction for DJ equipment. The awards ceremony will be held during Musikmesse on Saturday, 9 April 2011.

The preliminary round of the second DJ Tools Award begins on 15 February 2011, and is distinguished by a decisive innovation this year. In 2010, the winners of the DJ Tools Award were selected by a jury of experts. This year, the winners will be chosen by the people who use the equipment. In other words, winners will be the products with the most votes per category.

Everyone is invited to vote for his or her favourite products online at www.elevator.de until 17 March 2011. From club mixers, via DJ headphones, to DJ software and matching controllers, there are 13 categories to vote for at the DJ Tools Award 2011. After voting, voters can register for a competition in which they can win some of the most popular DJ tools.

With showcases and brief panel discussions, the awards ceremony promises to be a lively and interesting event for all DJs with an interest in the technical side. And the ceremony is open to the public, of course. After all, the DJ Tools Award is aimed at the people who use the products.
