| BAUER Maschinen at Conexpo Las Vegas 2011 The CONEXPO trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada is an extremely important platform for launching new developments in the machinery sector to the North American and international construction markets. This year is no exception as the Bauer Maschinen Group will once again exhibit a broad spec-trum of its specialist foundation equipment, showcasing new and innovative ideas for CON-EXPO-CON/AGG 2011. The highlights of this year's exposition are the BAUER BG 24 H and BG 28 rotary drilling rigs which are now manufactured in the United States at the BAUER manufacturing facility in Con-roe, Texas. Both units are transporting important messages to the public: BAUER Maschinen is showing their commitment to the North American market by displaying equipment manufactured, sold and serviced in the United States. They are equipped with the latest engine technology to fulfill the extended requirements of TIER IV regulations. They show the multifunctional concept of the BG rig series. While the BG drilling rigs are ideal rigs for Kelly drilling, they easily can be converted for other special foundation applications. The BG 24 H is showcased with a depth vibrator TR 17 for constructing stone columns, while the BG 28 is shown as carrier for the exceptional soil mixing system CSM. The system of CSM, which was invented by Bauer Maschinen in Germany, has already gained quite some attraction in the US foundation industry. Under the slogan "All from one source" many interesting and innovative products are also de-veloped by the affiliated companies of the Bauer Maschinen Group. These include the multi-purpose leader rigs of RTG Rammtechnik who will launching their telescopic leader rig, the RG 21 T with its updated quick coupling system. The RG 21 S features its MR 150 hydraulic vibratory system which the innovative AVM (active vibration management system). This com-bination is the first choice for the installation of heavy-duty sheet piles or steel sections with length of up to 21 m. KLEMM Bohrtechnik will demonstrate its competence by exhibiting two of their multi-purpose anchor drills KR 806 and KR 702. BAUER Pileco, the American subsidiary of Bauer Maschinen, is the specialist in pile driving technology. They will exhibit a Pileco Diesel impact hammer D 19-42 (total hammer weight approx. 4000 kg) and a Pileco Diesel impact hammer D 36-32 (total hammer weight approx. 8000 kg) while FAMBO is featuring one of their hydraulic hammers. MAT Mischanlagentechnik is a mid-size company dedicated to designing and manufacturing equipment for slurry mixing, materials handling and mechanical separation technology.
