| Medtrade show director receives Merit Award from IAEE Kevin M. Gaffney, CEM, show director for Medtrade and Medtrade Spring, recently was honored by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). Medtrade and Medtrade Spring are owned and produced by Nielsen Expositions. The IAEE awards program recognizes professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the exhibitions and events industry, according to the association. Honorees will receive the awards at the IAEE national meeting held in New Orleans this December. Gaffney received the Merit Award, which recognizes those whose ideas and/or work have benefited IAEE as an organization in some special way and is generally reserved for those who have stepped forward at the chapter and local level. Nielsen Expositions upcoming health care events include Medtrade 2010, which will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on November 15 – 18.
