IPB 2010 – Three days with good results

This year's International Powder/Bulk Conference & Exhibition (IPB), held from 27 to 29 September in Shanghai, was the scene of a lot of optimism and high-quality discussions. The trade fair closed after three days with good results: Considerably more exhibitors (2010: 147; 2009: 129) and high-level visitors than last year (2010: 6.100; 2009: 5.200). This proofs that IPB is the largest and most specialised international trade fair in the whole field of powder, granule and bulk solids technology in China. The trade fair is organised jointly by the Chinese Society of Particuology (CSP), NürnbergMesse China Co., Ltd. and Worldwide Exhibitions ServiceCo., Ltd. with strong support from POWTECH of Nuremberg, Germany.

Over 6.100 trade visitors and congress participants used the IPB 2010 as the platform to meet leading manufacturers and find new applications for their manufacturing processes. The 147 exhibitors came to Shanghai from eight countries: China, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Japan and Singapore. The visitors made their way to Shanghai from 17 countries: China, Pakistan, Germany, Russia, Ecuador, France, Korea, the Netherlands, Malaysia, the USA, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, India, Indonesia, the UK and Vietnam.
