| Venus fair in Kielce, Poland  With the aim being to extend the range of exhibited products and services, the 6th Fair of Aesthetic Medicine, Cosmetic and Hairdressing Equipment, Venus (5-7 November, 2010) will be held simultaneously with the trade fair MODNY ŚLUB (FASHIONABLE WEDDING) as well as with a newly developed exhibition project - KIELCE BUSINESS FASHION.The idea behind the organization of this fair is to show the latest trends and techniques in male and female beauty care. Therefore the exhibition stands prepared by companies from across Poland mainly feature services offered by hair salons, beauty parlours and rejuvenation centres. There are also presentations of state-of-the-art beauty care equipment and sunbeds. In addition to that, the Venus fair offers presentations of the most fashionable furnishings for beauty care shops. This fair enables cosmetics producers as well as beauty care equipment manufacturers and distributors to establish contacts with their potential customers, i.e. beauty therapists, hairdressers, dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons and pharmacists. As part of the fair programme, visitors have an opportunity to become acquainted with the secrets of facial and body care treatments as well as being invited to attend numerous presentations of the latest hairdressing and make-up trends. They are also offered expert advice on cosmetology and aesthetic medicine, which is provided at special Consultation Desks. It will be the second time that the trade fair Venus is accompanied by the International Days of Cosmetology, an event, which, the same as in the spring, is organized in conjunction with the University of Economics and Law in Kielce. This will be an opportunity to participate in workshops run by representatives of well-established cosmetics companies. The workshops held in April attracted many participants from Poland and abroad. Another accompanying event to be widely regarded as a must was the prestigious National Make-up Competition, with crowds of supporters and make-up fans watching it.
