| Volvo at Bauma China With just weeks to go before the biggest construction equipment exhibition in Asia, Volvo is ready to wow visitors with its most impressive display yet. Occupying 210,000 m2 of space at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Bauma China is the country's leading construction equipment trade show held between 23-26 November. Attendance numbers look set to increase by 40% this year, to some 150,000 visitors and over 2000 exhibitors. With a focus on fuel efficiency and productivity Volvo will showcase a compelling line up of products including excavators, wheel loaders and articulated haulers, totally numbering 10 machines. Among the new additions to be unveiled at the show are a new 20 tonne Volvo excavator made exclusively for the Chinese market, as well as products new to China from its road machinery range – a new asphalt paver and an upgraded compaction line. The 20 tonne excavator is China-customised in terms of application and suitability, and is highly fuel efficient and productive. The asphalt paver comes with great productivity and versatility and is equally meeting the demands of Chinese customers. With the growing demand for premium Volvo machines in China, the importance of a strong aftermarket offer is increasing along side it. Customer Support will be in focus through demonstration of how service agreements and other genuine Volvo parts and service offers protect investment and profits for the customer. The Volvo exhibit at Bauma China 2010 will also include a Volvo Remarketing offer and Volvo Financial Services will be well represented. As part of the company's commitment to innovation in design and engineering Volvo will display its three futuristic concept models in China for the first time ever. The exhibit will also include products from Volvo Penta - the Volvo Group´s company for diesel engine OEM sales.
