| Samir Brikho to chair SPE Offshore Europe 2011 Amec, the international engineering and project management company, announced that Chief Executive Samir Brikho has accepted the role of Chairman of SPE Offshore Europe 2011, the largest upstream oil and gas event outside North America. The conference and exhibition is held every two years in Europe's energy capital of Aberdeen and the last event in 2009 achieved record-breaking attendance figures. The main theme for the 2011 event is 'Securing Safe, Smart, Sustainable Supply'.
