| New chairman of the trade fair advisory board elected At the end of April this year, the Chillventa trade fair advisory board met as part of the International Press Meeting in Kulmbach, Germany. One of their most important tasks was to elect a chairman. The unanimous choice of all 20 members of the top-class committee, put together from every branch of the refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pump community, was a genuine industry celebrity: Heinrich Reuß. Mr. Reuß, you have been chairman of the Chillventa trade fair advisory board for a few weeks. Three brief questions and three answers, please. What does Chillventa mean for you and your industry? Heinrich Reuß: "First of all, I'm pleased to be the chairman of the Chillventa trade fair advisory board. Leading this top-class committee is a very exciting and responsible position. The special thing about the Chillventa advisory board is that it reflects the entire industry. For me, the exchange of ideas among colleagues is an important aspect, but so is helping to design the trade fair and providing expert advice. The board does this very well – actively, creatively, and with a high level of expertise. I feel exactly the same about the trade fair. The layout is outstanding, and it reflects the entire market of the refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pump world internationally. It is a place to meet and where solutions are developed, where you can see the ideas and trends of tomorrow. On that basis, Chillventa has established itself as the most important international hub of the industry." What are you looking forward to at Chillventa 2010? Heinrich Reuß: "I am particularly looking forward to a well arranged and extensive Chillventa with significantly more exhibitors and certainly many professional visitors from all over the world. Having around 900 companies from 42 countries is already tremendous. That represents the refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pump community at a qualitatively and quantitatively high level. I am especially interested in how our visitors will react to the two special topics, the newly created Clean Room Village and the Industrial Heat Pump Village." Could you give us a forecast? Where do you see the trade fair in four years? Heinrich Reuß: "I will risk a prognosis, although I'm no psychic. But I am sure that Chillventa 2014 will be the most successful, largest, and most important trade fair in its segment worldwide. Together with the exhibiting companies represented by the advisory board, honorary sponsors, and NürnbergMesse, we will all do everything we can to be able to present specialists with the best event for the refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pump industry." write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Exhibition News :: home page |
