| Sino-Pack 2011 & China Drinktec 2011 As the largest and most influential packaging and beverage technology show in China, the 18th China International Exhibition on Packaging Machinery & Materials (Sino-Pack 2011) and The 15th China International Exhibition on Brewery, Beverage and Liquid Packaging (China Drinktec 2011) will be staged at China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, PR China during 9-11 March 2011. The exhibition is organized by China Foreign Trade Centre (Group) and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, supported by over 40 renowned organizations and professional associations. The exhibition area of Sino-Pack / China Drinktec increases every year with the continuously support from repeated exhibitors and new customers. The event in 2011 achieves to take 3 combined exhibition halls for the first time. This expansion and combination is going to make the purchasing process of buyers more efficient and convenient. The three theme halls, namely, 'General Packaging Machinery and Materials', 'Beverage & Brewery Packaging Machinery' and 'Plastics Packaging Products and Machinery' will showcase packaging production chain related exhibits, including liquid packaging equipment, plastic packaging equipment, general packaging equipment, logistic packaging equipment and packaging products & materials. The comprehensive range of exhibits will cater the needs of different industries and the interest of different buyers. Concurrently held with Printing South China 2011 and Sino-Label 2011, the exhibitions are expected to attract over 1, 000 exhibitors, and be prepared to welcome more than 50,000 high-end trade buyers. The exhibition area will reach 60, 000sqm and has become the largest printing, packaging and beverage technology exhibition in China. With the mission of promoting the concept of green packaging, the first edition of "Adsale Cup – Green Packaging Competition" received numerous positive feedbacks from the industry. Awards for "The Best Green Package", "The Best Renewable Resources Package", "The Best Green Packaging Materials", etc. were presented in the competition. The success of the event actively promoted the concept of green packaging and renewable resources packaging to the industry. The 2nd Green Packaging Competition will be held during the exhibition in 2011. The award presentation ceremony will be held during the opening ceremony of the exhibition, and will be supported by government officials, industry experts, famous designers, management from around 50 renowned enterprises and media. Gold, Silver, Bronze and special prizes will be presented onsite. In addition to the competition, "Premium Printing and Packaging Experience Zone" will specially be set up for showcasing cutting-edge package designs from 100 high-end packaging companies. The exhibits will be ranged from ceramic products, such as bottle packaging, wine cap, handicrafts and wood packaging to paper products, plastic, metal, glass and leather products, shell packaging and other new packaging materials and techniques. The collective debut of such cutting-edge package designs attracted hundreds of visitors to the show in last edition, including manufacturers, designers and advertising companies. Another 20 onsite symposiums and seminars will be offered during the show, with exciting topics that catered to the needs of brewery, beverage and liquid products manufacturers and other manufacturers from food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industries. The Sino-Pack 2010 / China Drinktec 2010 which ran from March 9 - 11, 2010, ended fruitfully in Guangzhou, PR China. The event showcased the latest packaging materials, equipment and technical solutions and it took more than 30,000sqm exhibition space and was participated by 386 renowned exhibitors from all over the world.
