| Russian Bar Fair  Russian bartenders participate in the annual World Cocktail Competition since 1997, and always manage to be in the list of top ten. World Cocktail Competition (WCC) is the international contest among bartenders which is attended by the winners of the national qualifying rounds from more than 50 countries, members of the International Bartenders Association. This year WCC will take place in Singapore in November 22-27.Championship qualifying rounds are held throughout the year in the major Russian cities. The final round takes place in Moscow and traditionally attracts all industry professionals interested in this fascinating show. Russian national qualifying round of WCC 2010 will be hosted in August 25-26 in Moscow at Crocus Expo alongside the Best Russian Bartenders Competition. These events provide a perfect opportunity to bring together senior level executives, managing directors and general managers of bars and restaurants, experts in the field of alcoholic drinks, bartenders, baristas, buyers, boutique owners and VIP guests. The aim of the Russian Bar Fair is to present spirits, sparkling wines and champagne, coffee and coffee machines, tea and other soft drinks, as well as other suppliers. The event is hosted by the Bartenders Association of Russia together in partnership with the Asti Group Exhibition Company, longtime partner in organizing joint networking events and competitions as well as international exhibitions for wines and spirits industry. Another event which will take place simultaneously with the finale of the all-Russian qualifying round is the Annual Bartenders Congress. It will gather official representatives of Bartenders Association of Russia from more than 60 cities. Industry professionals have a great influence on the development of HoReCA sector in the regions since most of them have their own training centers, restaurants and bars, and organize various events such as competitions, master classes, and staff-parties. They also conduct an extensive campaign to promote and improve the culture of drinking and to raise the professional level of the personnel employed in the restaurant business. By attending the event, the bar, restaurant, pub and nightclub owners as well as the businessmen and barmen will be given an opportunity to benefit from the business agenda as well as enjoy the atmosphere of celebration, evaluate professional activities of bartenders, become familiar with new industry trends and simply to have a good time in a sparkling stream of fireworks of barmen commands from various cities of Russia, winners of regional rounds.
