Bioenergy sector to meet in the heart of Europe

In just three weeks, the AEBIOM Bioenergy Conference & RENEXPO Bioenergy Europe will open its doors to the public in Albert Hall in Brussels. The trade exhibition with an accompanying conference will unite important decision makers from all over Europe, the leading European companies and the largest trade associations in the bioenergy industry.

A special highlight of the event will be the official introduction of the European Pellets Council (EPC) as part of the conference. The EPC will offer national pellet associations a platform for addressing the issues of the pellet industry at the EU level. For example, the EPC will help monitor the implementation of the future EN-plus quality standards.

Bioenergy will play a central role in future energy production, so it is no wonder that it makes up an important part of national policies for promoting renewable energies. The AEBIOM Bioenergy Conference will address this topic along with others including the potential of bioenergy, financing solutions, district heating, small scale furnaces, sustainability and financing.

Some of the renown speakers include EU Energy Commissioner Günter Oettinger and Members of European Parliament Hans van Steen, Hilkka Summa, Paul Hodson and Philippe Schild.

As the first exhibition and conference at the European level to deal exclusively with bioenergy, the RENEXPO Bioenergy Europe has already aroused a lot of interest. Along with leading companies such as Bruks Klöckner GmbH, EnviTec Biogas AG, Polytechnik Luft- und Feuerungstechnik GmbH, Thermaflex International Holding, Turboden s.r.l., Vandenbroek Thermal Processing and Watts Microflex NV, who will present their newest products, innovations and services and give an overview of current market trends in the bioenergy sector, the exhibition will also feature gold and silver sponsors Arizona Chemical and Andritz AG with their own exhibition booth.

In light of the upcoming Hungarian EU presidency in 2011, the Hungarian joint booth by the Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Agency ITD Hungary Zrt. is rapidly becoming one of the exhibition's main attractions. At the moment, eight companies and associations are registered as coexhibitors. These include some of the most influential Hungarian trade associations such as the Hungarian Biogas Association and the Hungarian Pellet Association.

The REECO Group: The organizer "REECO GmbH" is part of the REECO Group with its headquarter in Germany and subsidiaries In Salzburg/Austria, Brussels/Belgium, Porto/Portugal, Budapest/Hungary and Arad/Romania.
