| Parsons to sponsor Middle East Rail 2010 Pasadena-based engineering giant Parsons announced that it will sponsor Middle East Rail 2010, the largest dedicated rail conference and exhibition held in the Middle East. The event will take place from May 10–13 at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Parsons Vice President Nick Berrill will participate in a panel discussion at the 4th annual conference and exhibition. The discussion topic will be "The impact of new economic variables and aggressive competition on price, bidding, and the quality of delivery." Mr. Berrill has 18 years of rail- and transit-related experience and more than 25 years of engineering experience. He currently serves as Program Manager and Deputy Project Director for the $8 billion Dubai Metro Red and Green Line projects.
