| Glass South America 2010 NürnbergMesse Brasil, one of the main trade fair organizers in the world, holds Glass South America from May 6th to the 8th. Taking place every two years, it is the glass sector's main event in South America and has an exhibit space increase of 16% in comparison to the previous edition. At the event, the latest innovations in glass application, machines and accessories are on display, available to professionals from such industries as civil construction, architecture, automotive and furniture. Parallel to the fair, the Glass Performance Day will be held for the first time in South America, introducing the latest trends and innovations for the development of new glass products and applications. The event is expected to receive more than 12 thousand visitors and to bring together around a hundred international and national exhibitors. Parallel to the GDP, the following events will take place: the 2nd Brazilian Glazers Seminar held by the Anavidro (National Glazers Association) on May 7th, and the Sinbevidros Seminar held in partnership with Fiesp (Federation of São Paulo State Industries) on May 6th.
