International Armoured Vehicles 2010: countering the challenging security environment of 21st Century Warfare

Against a backdrop of nations reacting to the current challenging security environment, there are hastening global efforts to upgrade current armoured vehicle capabilities. Whilst traditional defence requirements remain crucial dynamics, today's armed forces are now combating the most lethal and effective weapons, and as a consequence the need for more reliable, innovative technology has been seen to be crucial for saving lives. Combating increasingly diverse threats to national security has resulted in nations adapting their defence requirements accordingly. As a result, International Armoured Vehicles will focus on the technologies and systems that are being developed to meet these requirements.

International Armoured Vehicles is the only international exhibition and conference dedicated exclusively to the armoured vehicle community. The event brings together senior military and industry experts providing opportunities to gain expert insights on armoured vehicle trends, global procurement activity and lessons learnt from the battlefield, as well as to conduct business with the world's leading vehicle, system and component manufacturers and smaller specialist suppliers.

International Armoured Vehicles takes place at the ExCel Centre in London's Docklands from 1 to 5 February 2010, and with 80 exhibitors already confirmed, and over 1500 individuals expected on site, it is an event not to be missed for anyone involved in the AFV community.

Visit the official site of International Armoured Vehicles for further details about the event.
