Fensterbau/frontale And Ift Rosenheim Expand Partnership

NürnbergMesse, the organizer of the fensterbau/frontale International Trade Fair Window, Door and Facade in Nürnberg, and ift Rosenheim, the international test, research and certification centre for the window, facade and door industry, want to bundle and strengthen their expertise more through joint activities in order to offer attractive services for internationally operating companies in the future. "Following intensive talks, the long-standing, close cooperation between fensterbau/frontale and ift Rosenheim is to be raised to a new level, " says a convinced Willy Viethen, Exhibition Director of fensterbau/frontale at NürnbergMesse. Dr. Jochen Peichl, General Manager of ift Rosenheim, also welcomes the advantages of the strategic cooperation: "We want to provide even better support for the work of internationally operating companies by coordinating our international activities and bundling expertise." This covers the development of tailor-made forms of dialogue for interesting international growth markets like exhibitions, congresses, conferences, individual seminars and dialogue forums.

The initial concrete steps include closer coordination and mutual presence at each partner's events. Another key objective is to establish networks involving research, politics, associations and industry. "All concerned will profit from these measures, " Dr. Peichl continues, "as ultimately we have the same goal: promoting the window industry at international level." For Willy Viethen, the "International Strategic Partnership fenestration" between ift Rosenheim and fensterbau/frontale is therefore a logical step: "We have been working in unison for a long time and would like to become even stronger in future."

The Rosenheim International Window & Facade Conference, which takes place in Rosenheim on 15–16 October 2009, is the industry's leading annual get-together at which more than 1, 000 decision-makers from more than 30 countries meet to discuss the major trends and practical issues in the fields of technology, science, standards and markets. This year's motto is "Energy Efficiency – Comfort – Convenience 2010".

fensterbau/frontale 2010, the International Trade Fair Window, Door and Facade, takes place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg parallel to HOLZ-HANDWERK from 24–27 March 2010. The organizer is NürnbergMesse GmbH and the honorary sponsors are the association, the Fachverband Glas Fenster Fassade Baden-Württemberg, and the two guilds, the Landesinnungsverband des Glaserhandwerks Rheinland-Pfalz and the Landesinnungsverband des Bayerischen Glaserhandwerks.
