| Tandberg at IP EXPO 09 TANDBERG announced its attendance at IP EXPO 09 at Earls Court in London on the 7th – 8th October. Keith Glancey, Systems Engineering Manager, Western Europe & Sub-Saharan Africa, TANDBERG, will take up two speaking slots to explain why organisations are adopting video as part of their unified communications solution. The sessions, entitled 'Why Video & Unified Communications: Market Trends and the New Way of Working', will take place at 13.50 on Wednesday, October 7th in the Teleworking & Mobility Theatre and 14.30 on Thursday, October 8th in the Communications & Collaboration Theatre. Each 30 minute conference will review the market trends in communications and collaboration, the development and value of video, and key considerations when architecting video solutions within an overall unified communications strategy. "The economic climate is forcing businesses to do more with less and find a completely new way of working. Unified communications is the key to this but the most important factors by far for the mass adoption of videoconferencing and telepresence as part of a UC strategy continues to be interoperability ease of use and quality. Without this, you could liken some videoconferencing systems to the cans on a string you used to play with as a child, " commented Glancey. "That's why it is important that IT managers considering implementing unified communications understand what will help drive adoption and usage within their organisation." TANDBERG is also showcasing everything from its Total Telepresence range to desktop solutions, such as the E20 video VoIP phone and the new Movi and Precision HD USB camera for mobile working, at stand 316. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
