| Innovation Is A Key Business Enabler As We Exit The Downturn The International Trade Award for 'innovation' will be presented to the businesses who judges feel demonstrate outstanding innovation through the use of products, practices and services in the growth of their business. Dave Litchfield, Managing Director of NGS Software who received the 2008 award for 'Excellence in Innovation' says: "Having previously been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise for International Trade in 2007 and been voted 'Best Security Company' in Europe 2008 NGS entered the prestigious International Trade Awards to see if our achievements compared with those of other businesses in different sectors around the UK". He continues: "The NGS team were extremely pleased when the award was announced and it was really satisfying to know that all of their innovative ideas and cutting edge research had been recognised and acknowledged with the award, especially by such an esteemed award committee." He adds: "Since winning the International Trade Award our business has continued to grow despite the credit crunch which hit many of our competitors and our company was sold to NCC Group a FTSE 100 Company." Each of the finalists will receive an awards presentation lunch with HSBC locally, and an online promotional campaign worth £1500 including an online video interview. They will also be invited to the grand final at the House of Lords and have an official tour of the Palace of Westminster. The closing date for the first round of regional heats covering North East England, Yorkshire and Humber and North West of England, is fast approaching on Friday 9th October. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
