| European Training and Development Summit in Barcelona CERTPOINT Systems, a global provider of integrated enterprise learning solutions, has announced that Maria van Vlodrop, General Manager at CERTPOINT will present to a gathering of international learning practitioners at the European Training and Development Summit in Barcelona, Spain on Tuesday 29th September 2009. Van Vlodrop will address the plenary session on 'Building organizational learning for today', together with Donald H Taylor, founder and chairman of the Learning and Skills Group, and a leading expert in technology-supported learning in the workplace. In the presentation, the speakers will explore ways in which e-learning has changed over the past decade. In particular, they will examine the shift from the simple, centralized role of the Learning Management System in the past to the far more complex picture of today. The talk will include the increasing role of social and informal learning in the workplace, and the challenge this presents to organizational learning and development departments. The talk will also look at the role of mobile technologies in making learning materials and assistance more easily available, both for performance support and for socially-driven informal learning. It will examine how organizations are increasingly taking control of their own learning, demanding training solutions which can be quickly and easily deployed, with minimal intervention from software vendors. Maria van Vlodrop will draw on a wealth of experience in the training industry to illustrate the talk, including real-world examples of good practice from companies such as L'Oréal, Toyota Motor Europe, Honda and Black & Decker. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
