If It Is November, It Must Be Fenestration China

The date remains familiar, the location will be new: between November 27th and 29th 2009, the international fenestration business will meet at the National Agriculture Exhibition Center in Beijing. With all 28,000 sqm of exhibition space already booked up, Fenestration China asserts its status as the leading exhibition for window and curtain wall manufacturing in China and Asia. Germany will have a strong showing with 11 companies at its country pavilion. The trade show is again supported by the China Construction Metal Structure Association (CCMSA) and managed by the international trade fair experts UnionExpo and NürnbergMesse Group. It receives further support by a large number of well-known institutions and organizations of the windows and curtain walls industry, including the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction of the P.R. China and the German Association of Window and Curtain Wall Manufacturers.

Fenestration China is part of the Global Fair Alliance of the four major trade exhibitions in the sector.

"German Pavilion" showcases range of products and technologies

Unprecedented demand for exhibition space at Beijing's National Agriculture Exhibition Center has meant a 30 per cent increase of the show's size. Across 28,000 sqm, some 110,000 products by international manufacturers of windows and curtain walls, glass products, hardware, doors, fixing equipment and machines, installations and tools for working glass, wood or plastics will be on show.

Around 25,000 trade visitors from 20 nations are expected at the National Agriculture Exhibition Center in Beijing this year. To facilitate their planning, a comprehensive website has been set up which allows visitors to download an information brochure and forms including those for visa applications and hotel bookings.

Visitors can also sign up for the accompanying conference "Fenestration Days China", which is run in parallel to the trade show. Its central themes this year center on energy efficiency, building resistance to earthquakes, architectural glass and intelligent curtains.

Following the success of previous years the German Federal Ministry of Economics is again sponsoring a national pavilion with 12 companies having confirmed their participation to date.
