| Vietnamwood 2009 Vietnamwood 2009 will be held in SECC Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center from September 24 – 27, 2009. The show will be staged along side with Furnitec2009. The two shows will provide outstanding opportunities for global & local companies consisting of; Woodworking Machinery, Kiln Drying & Timber Technologies, Joinery, Furniture, Veneered Products Machineries, and Woodworking Materials… etc. The show is co-organized by Ministry of Industry & Trade – Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD), Paper Communication Exhibition Services, and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. Vietnamwood is specially endorsed by international industry federations including: EUMABOIS, VDMA, ACIMALL / ICE – Italian Trade Commission, and AHEC / / NCDA / North Central. Vietnamwood 2009 welcomes all exhibitors and visitors from the related industries. Built with a strong foundation from previous successful events. Vietnamwood 2009 is expected to attract more than 16, 000 domestic and overseas visitors. Both Vietnamwood and Furnitec will host about 250 exhibiting companies which will covers approx. 14,000 sqm of the SECC exhibition ground. In the last event Vietnamwood 2007, the exhibition attracted 15,956 professional buyers. The exhibition floor space covered around 13,500sqm with 500 booths exhibiting 245 companies from 21 countries, making Vietnamwood is the largest woodworking industry exhibition in Vietnam. Aside from product showcases on the exhibition floor, industry practitioners share their knowledge and experience in the areas of furniture & bedding and solutions, innovations & market opportunities in a series of professional seminars. Furthermore, various professional Business Symposium will be hosted to discuss the current events and latest techniques and technologies of the industry. Suppliers of woodworking and furniture manufacturers are upbeat about the current business prospects and will joining in large numbers. International pavilions from China, German, Italy, Taiwan, and U.S.A will be taking parts in the exhibition, with major industry companies such as Homag, Boark, Yan's, APP Timber, Holz-Her, Hafele, Xinhuada, Harbin Dongda, Qingdao Heroic etc… who will be show casing their latest products and technology to the Vietnamese market.
