| Shunde Expo 2009 The ninth China Shunde International Exposition for Household Electrical Appliances (Shunde Expo) will be facing the current market challenges with adequate confidence by introducing new elements to the event. This year's key focuses will be trade, technology and post-sale services. In addition to the existing exhibit profile encompassing kitchen electric appliances, bathroom appliances, small home appliances and accessories, a new exhibition zone dedicated to gas appliances is currently being explored by the organizers. Such a display is the first of its kind in China and is expected to appeal to both domestic and international exhibitors and visitors. It also further cements the status of Shunde, which in 2007 was awarded "City of Gas Appliances of China" for its high concentration of gas appliance manufacturers - more than 100 companies, accounting for more than one-fifth of the suppliers in China. Shunde Expo 2009 will see new communication tools being employed, such as cooperating with television shopping channels. To further widen its reach, the promotion of the event will be heavily targeted at third- and fourth-tier domestic markets, where opportunities have emerged following the central government's "Home Appliances to the Countryside" initiative. Mr. Li Tao, Senior Brand and Public Relations Manager, Guangdong Macro Gas Appliance Co., Ltd., who will be participating again this year, has this to say about Shunde Expo, "It is a 'must' for us to participate in Shunde Expo each year. This year, Shunde Expo has grown into an even more well-organized event than before. With the increase in floor space and visitor number, both the trading volume and scale of Shunde Expo has grown, thus creating a very good trading platform for exhibitors like us." "Shunde Expo 2008 was well-organized and I'm happy with the overall results. There was a good stream of visitors and business enquiries. We hope that through this participation, we can increase domestic sales and expand our business.", said Mr. Tetsuo Ishizu, Managing Director, Panasonic Ecology Systems Guangdong Co., Ltd., another returning exhibitor. The last Shunde Expo marked the inaugural cooperation between Koelnmesse Co., Ltd. and the People's Government of Shunde, which attracted 475 exhibitors from renowned brands, occupying 23,500sqm of exhibition space. Shunde Expo 2009 will be held from 19 to 22 October 2009 at the Shunde Exhibition Center in Shunde, China. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
