| Cersaie 2009 Fully Booked Cersaie, the pre-eminent international ceramic tile and bathroom furnishing exhibition, will run from 29 September to 3 October 2009 in the Bologna exhibition centre and will be attended by distribution professionals, architects and interior designers, as well as representatives of installation companies and large building firms from all over the world. The level of excellence of the show is demonstrated by the fact that 98% of the entire exhibition space was fully booked by the end of May. The prestige and international reach of the event, now in its twenty-seventh edition, is confirmed by the figures. According to the latest figures available on 20 July 2009, the 176, 000 square metre exhibit space in the Bologna exhibition centre will be hosting a total of 1,010 exhibitors from 34 countries, operating in 5 different product sectors. A total of 494 ceramic tile companies will be taking part, including 321 Italian and 173 international firms (49% of total exhibitors) in a space of 97,500 square metres. The bathroom furnishing sector will also be strongly represented with 374 exhibitors (37% of the total), including 348 Italian and 26 international firms, in an exhibition space of 58,000 sq.m. The sector of raw materials and equipment for ceramic products has a total of 22 exhibitors (2.2% of the total), including 14 Italian and 8 foreign firms in a space of 2,500 sq.m. Lastly, the services sector consists of 66 companies (55 Italian and 11 international, 6.5% of the total) in an exhibition space of 2,500 sq.m, while the sector of equipment and materials for installation of ceramic products comprises 54 exhibitors (5.3% of the total including 39 Italian and 15 international companies) occupying a space of 15,500 sq.m. As always, there will be a strong Italian presence, a total of 777 companies having already booked space. These companies will be showcasing the most significant and aesthetically outstanding new products, confirming Italy's dominance at a world level. The second best represented country at the show will be Spain, the leading European producer and consumer of ceramic tiles and sanitaryware alongside Italy, with a delegation of 107 companies. The universal appeal of Cersaie is once again demonstrated by the figures for the space assigned to the various product sectors: 57.15% for the tile sector, 35.22% for the bathroom furnishing sector, 1.85% for the ceramic colour sector and the remaining 5.56% for the producers of adhesives and installation materials, present in the external areas. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
