| dotDigital Group plc Named Finalist for National Business Awards The dotDigital Group plc has been named as a finalist for the 2009 National Business Awards sponsored by Orange. The London based digital marketing company is shortlisted for the Growth Strategy of the Year award having posted treble-digit growth figures over the last 3 years. Peter Simmonds, CEO, dotDigital Group said: "This nomination recognises our success in developing the dotDigital Group into that rare thing – a full service digital marketing agency, and a one-stop shop for any organisation's digital marketing needs. Our focus on anticipating and meeting these needs has resulted in considerable business growth, and a solid basis for continued expansion. In February 2009, the dotDigitalGroup PLC was admitted to trading on the PLUS Market, which marked an exciting year for the business. The Group is made up of four key business properties, covering email marketing, website and microsite development, e-commerce packages and content management systems: • dotMailer - the email marketing company that provides over 2, 000 users with high deliverability and advanced ROI-boosting features through an intuitive and easy-to-use interface; • dotAgency - a team of digital marketing specialists offering design, website creation, search engine optimisation and strategic digital marketing consultancy • dotCommerce - offering an affordable, flexible and scalable off-the-shelf ecommerce solution that fits like a tailored solution • dotEditor - the content management system that empowers their clients to edit and manage their own, rich content. Commenting on the encouraging figures and the calibre of entries, Philip Forrest, Chairman of Judges, The National Business Awards, said: "The economic climate continues to present UK businesses with an unprecedented challenge and some sectors have suffered in its wake. It is therefore encouraging that the entries in this year's National Business Awards have shown no drop in quality or performance. This not only reflects the resilience and optimism that are the hallmarks of UK enterprise but has served to make this one of the most competitive years so far. Winners of the National Business Awards will be unveiled at a glittering gala award ceremony on 10th November 2009 at the Grosvenor House hotel in London. Current title holders include Sir John Rose, CEO, Rolls-Royce, who won The Orange Business Leader Award in 2008 and Paul Walsh, CEO, Diageo, who won The Daily Telegraph Decade of Excellence in Business accolade. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
