| Pistoia Chooses Iberflora As Platform For Showcasing Its Products  The Italian province of Pistoia, Europe's biggest producer of ornamental plants, has confirmed that it will be exhibiting at IBERFLORA for the fifth year running.. With the presence of Pistoia's biggest growers IBERFLORA is set to consolidate its offering of international exhibitors, creating a world-class showcase for plants, flowers and d.i.y. gardening and technology products. Confirmation of Pistoia's participation comes following a visit by the organisers of the fair to the region, which is considered to be the capital of European nursery growing.Esteban Cuesta, the fair's director, has said that he is delighted at the news because, as he points out, this presence makes Iberflora the event with the strongest representation from the flower and plant producing region. Tuscany, the region that includes the province of Pistoia, is Italy's top flower and ornamental plant producing region. In the greenhouses of Pistoia growers cultivate the typical flowers and plants of the region along with species from all over the world, from tropical flowers to species that thrive in very cold climates such as that of the Apennines. To date, the companies that have confirmed that they will be exhibiting at IBERFLORA'09 are: Distretto Vivaistico Pistoia; Innocenti e Mangoni Export Srl; Consorzio Fratelli Tesi Piantitalia; Vivai Sandro Bruschi; Societą Agricola Carlesi Vivai, S.S.; Zelari Piante S.S.; Baldacci Primo E Figli; Vannucci Piante and Societa Agricola Righetti Piante S.S.
