| Interxion Announces Gold Sponsorship of LINX66 Event Interxion, a leading European operator of carrier-neutral data centres, today announced its Gold Sponsorship of the LINX66 event (www.linx.net), organised by LINX, the membership association for operators of Internet Protocol networks. The event will take place at Goodenough College, London, on 17th - 18th of August 2009. The event will consist of two days of in-depth presentations and discussion forums looking at all areas of Internet Protocol and the associated industries. It will also provide an overview of the opportunities and challenges facing the industry and give LINX members a chance to discuss industry trends and meet new association members. As part of the company's support for the event, Lex Coors, Interxion's Vice President of the Technology and Engineering Group and the architect of the pioneering modular data centre design, will be delivering a presentation entitled "Data Centre Efficiency – It's in the Design." The presentation will outline how organisations can optimise data centre efficiency by improving PUE ratios (power usage effectiveness). "The LINX66 event brings together some of the leading industry players in the Internet Protocol space, providing an excellent forum for discussion of trends seen in the market, " said Anthony Foy, Group MD, Interxion. "We look forward to sharing our expertise in data centre design, management and service provision to contribute to best practice in the sector." At present, 15 of Europe's leading Internet exchanges have a presence in Interxion's carrier-neutral data centres. Over 500 carriers and ISPs terminate their traffic with Interxion, creating a network-rich environment with unprecedented peering opportunities. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
