| The Trafic Conferences Among other activities, the fair will stage a Technology Transfer Meeting that will be transfered financed by European funds via the Enterprise Europe Network. TRAFIC, the International Road Safety and Equipment Exhibition, an event organised by IFEMA with the backing of the General Directorate for Traffic (DGT) and the General Directorate for Roads (DGC), has become an indisputable point of reference for the industry. In addition to its role as a leading trade event, the fair, which is due to take place between 27th and 30th October in Hall 7 at Feria de Madrid, constitutes a key forum for promoting the exchange of experiences and know-how among professionals from the industry. Within this context, the fair´s organisers, in collaboration with various outstanding associations on the market, have designed a range of activities that will provide a comprehensive overview of the current situation, trends and opportunities available within the industry. Among other initiatives, TRAFIC will host the staging of a Technology Transfer and Business Cooperation Meeting organised by the Business Association of Henares (AEDHE), a member of the Enterprise Europe Network. This meeting will be promoted through some 600 organisations located in 40 different countries belonging to the Network, with a view to encouraging agreements between companies, research centres and universities all over Europe. Participation at the event, which forms part of the activities organised by the consortium, Enterprise Europe Network Madri+d, will be free of charge and will revolve around a series of previously arranged interviews between representatives of supply and demand. Furthermore, the activities organised at the fair will include a series of papers that focus on the current situation regarding our roads and road safety. Among other features, the Spanish Car-Parks and Garages Association (ASESGA) has chosen TRAFIC as the venue at which to announce its First Business Forum on Parking, whilst ITS España, in collaboration with the Association of Traffic Engineers, will stage the Fourth Conferences on Urban Traffic Management. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
