| SEMICON China SEMI announced dates for SEMICON China 2010, which returns at to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) on March 16-18, 2010. The three-day exhibition and technical symposium is the largest event of its kind in the region, and offers innovative exhibits and a comprehensive set of business, technical and networking programs. China is positioned as the world's largest manufacturing hub for IT and consumer electronics, and each year demand increases for new and better technologies that enable the latest consumer electronics. Growth in the region is driven by a significant "chip gap" between market consumption and the local supply of material available, which ensures long-term growth in the China semiconductor industry. As the biggest investor of China industry, China's central and local governments recently announced investments of up to US$50 billion in regional semiconductor-related projects, which are expected to help drive significant growth in the region's semiconductor, FPD and solar industries up through at least 2020. Last year there were more than 25 government delegations visited the show, which signifies the strategic importance and priority of China's semiconductor industry at all levels. With emerging opportunities, China remains as the most dynamic market among all hot regions. It is an essential part of successful strategies and the key to keep in time with the rapidly-changed purchasing cycle. SEMICON China connects China's semiconductor industry with the global SEMI membership. About 800 exhibiting companies occupying more than 2, 000 booths are expected. SEMICON China 2010 will present a comprehensive set of topics through its exhibition, keynote addresses, executive panels, technical and business forums and full-day technology conferences. Major program and event highlights include: SOLARCON China 2010, SEMI's global solar technology event in China, launched in 2009, will once again be held concurrently with SEMICON China 2010. China Semiconductor Technology International Conference (CSTIC 2010), previous ISTC/CSTIC 2009, featured 239 speakers and 550 technical attendees from around the world last year. This world class event has speakers from leading fabs, equipment and materials companies and universities. Its topic will cover the whole semiconductor manufacturing supply chain. The 6th China SoG Silicon and PV Power Conference (6th CSPV), China's largest technical conference in solar industry, featured more than 100 presentations and over 1,000 professional attendees last year. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
