| Istanbul REstate-2009 Reed Exhibitions in Austria and the GYODER, The Turkish Association of Real Estate Investment Companies, will be joining together to stage an international real estate trade fair in Istanbul. The Istanbul REstate-2009 is to be held from the 2nd to the 4th of June 2009 at the Lütfí Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Centre. As well as looking at the gigantic booming Turkish market the focus of this new international real estate trade fair will also be placed on the Near and Middle East, Russia, the CIS states and the entire Mediterranean region. 'Istanbul is for Central Asia and the Near and Middle East, what Vienna is for the CEE region', stated Matthias Limbeck (DI), the New Business CEO for Reed Exhibitions in Austria, identifying parallels between the Austrian and Turkish capitals: 'The inner and outer districts of Istanbul house 14 million inhabitants. As well as being the focus of Turkish trade and commerce, Istanbul is also a meeting point for business contacts to the Near and Middle East, to the countries at the eastern end of the Mediterranean, to Russia, the CIS states and Turkish regions of Central Asia.
