| Fifth Data Centres Europe Forum Interxion, a leading European operator of carrier-neutral data centres, announced its Gold Sponsorship of the fifth Data Centres Europe (DCE) forum. The 2009 event, "Data Centres for the Enterprise" will take place at the America Square Conference Centre in the City of London on 22nd and 23rd April. The conference will address critical issues for enterprises: how to ensure efficient tactics and strategies for IT delivery; pricing, SLAs, and benchmarking deals for third party outsourcing; the impact of horizon services, SaaS and Cloud Computing; and how data centres can leverage the latest energy technologies to reduce carbon emissions. As part of the company's support for the event, Interxion Group MD Anthony Foy will be exploring the potential for Cloud Computing to reduce total cost of ownership while enhancing availability and operational resilience. Interxion CEO David Ruberg will also be joining a discussion panel examining the future of the industry and the likely impacts of issues such as current economic difficulties, rising power prices and environmental pressures. "DCE brings together a vibrant mix of customers, operators, analysts and service providers from around the world and provides an excellent forum for discussing how the latest trends and technologies will affect the industry, " said Anthony Foy, Group Managing Director Interxion. "We look forward to sharing our expertise in data centre design, management and service provision with customers and others, and listening carefully to the latest concerns and requirements." write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
