"The sales figures speak of course for the quality of our fair", comment the General Managers of the two organizing companies, Aleksandar Medjedovic of Messe Frankfurt Istanbul and Alexander Kühnel of Hannover Messe Interantional Istanbul. "However, it first of all shows how important the Turkish automotive market as a longterm partner is. Our Turkish exhibitors have not doubted one minute in their sales possibilities at the fair. At the same time, the international exhibitors believe in the steady development of the Turkish market and they are not abandoning it only because of a general slowdown." This year, Automechnika Istanbul will feature more than 200 international and among 400 Turkish exhibitors. They will be welcoming some 30.000 expected visitors to their stands. Coming together on on 15.000 net square meters, this is the largest gathering of automotive professionals in the region. The importance of the markets served by Automechanika Istanbul can be measured by the increasing volume of automobiles manufactured. Additional growth factors are the strong automotive aftermarket industry and the fast developments in energy and environmental issues, which all will be addrssed at the fair. "The automotive market in Turkey and the surrounding region, supported by Automechanika Istanbul, is vibrant and growing and our exhibitors are optimistic about their success at the fair." says Mr. Aleksandar Medjedovic, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Istanbul. And we are happy to hear at various occasions that many professionals have already booked their travel!" write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
