| Mexa Moscow 2009  Mexa Moscow 2009, the 18th international trade fair for fur and fur processing, will take place from 24th to 26th June 2009 in the Expocentre exhibition centre at the heart of Moscow. On show at Mexa Moscow 2009, for the very first time, will be hats and accessories, presented in an exclusive salon. Here, alongside the shapka, the traditional Russian fur cap, exhibitors will be showing off the latest fashions in accessories and headwear. Fashionable accessories complete any outfi t, and these days it is impossible to imagine the fashion world without them – just like the shapka, which adorns virtually every head during the Russian winter.The demand for fur shows no sign of slowing, continuing to rise in Russia in particular. The Russian fur trade generates an annual turnover of around USD 2.5 billion. More than a fourth of this in Moscow.
