| Businesses Urged To Sign Up For Technology Day Event aimed at helping IT strategists cope with downturn. Influential industry experts will be taking to the stage next month at the most comprehensive gathering of IT professionals in the South-West. Commercial IT Services' Technology Day 2009 promises to be a key event for all those with an interest in IT, from department managers to financial directors, with its informative seminars and visionary exhibits. With technology advancing at an ever-increasing rate and the economy now officially in a recession, IT planning is integral to an organisation's success and it is more important than ever for IT strategists to stay up-to-date. Commercial's Technology Day, which is now in its fourth year, gives people in the industry a rare opportunity to come together to discuss the big issues, as well as providing a showcase for the state-of-the-art technologies tipped to revolutionise the IT world. Topics this year will range from corporate social responsibility and environmental issues to virtualisation technologies, print management and workflow and information access solutions. Confirmed speakers include Alex Hill from Citrix, Dr Dave Barnes from HP LeftHand and Tom Scase from AppSense. Paul Edwards, Business Systems Manager of Group 4 Technology, said of the event: "I'm always impressed by the relationships Commercial maintain with their technology partners and to have so many of the world's leading providers present stands as testament to their skills and professionalism." Technology Day 2009, which will be held between 8.30am and 4pm at Cheltenham Racecourse on Thursday, February 26th, is free, but delegates must register online to take up their place. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
