| International Forecourt & Fuel Equipment (IFFE) Show 2009 The biggest names in the forecourt business will all be under one roof courtesy of the International Forecourt & Fuel Equipment (IFFE) Show 2009. This prestigious event will take place at the Birmingham NEC from March 1-3. With over 90 exhibitors, event director Matthew Butler reckons IFFE gives visitors the chance to do their year's business shopping in just one day. "The line up for 2009 is incredible so whatever visitors want, from a new fuel deal to advice on what to stock in their shop, they'll find it at IFFE." The oil companies will be out in force - exhibitors include Harvest Energy, Murco and Pace. And in addition Gulf is sponsoring the entrance to the show with its Gulf Oil Visitor Experience which will include its Le Mans-winning Aston Martin. Butler says car washes have become a profit centre for many forecourts so there will be numerous companies represented at the show. These include Istobal, Karcher, Ryko, Wash Tec and Wilcomatic plus Air-Serv with its jet wash machines. Says Butler: "We know that it's an extremely tough trading environment out there and that some people might be reluctant to take time out of their business to visit the show. However I can guarantee it will be worth it. IFFE will give visitors ample opportunity to meet up with suppliers, face to face, to gather information and advice, and strike new deals." In addition, visitors will be able to take advantage of features such as the new Take More, Make More area. Here industry experts will share ideas and information which visitors can take away and adapt for their own businesses, to make more money. Running alongside IFFE is, of course, the Convenience Retailing Show. And new for 2009 is a free voucher booklet, issued to every visitor, which entitles them to exclusive show deals and discounts. Says Butler: "We have really pulled out all the stops to make both IFFE and CRS the 'must attend' events for 2009. If forecourt and c-store operators miss these shows they'll really miss out!" write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
