| Stockholm International Fairs  For the second year in a row, a Swedish designer or group will be designing the press room for the Stockholm furniture Fair and Northern Light Fair. Last year, Form Us With Love designed an installation, and this time it is Jens Fager who is providing the inspiration for the design. Jens Fager's career has got off to a flying start since he concluded his studies at Konstfack last spring, starting with the launch of his furniture collection 'Raw' at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in Greenhouse 2008, and since then at the furniture fair in Milan. His collection has resulted in, for example, production for Danish Muuto, collaboration with designer Philippe Starck and Habitat UK, as well as several awards.His design for Stockholm International Fairs' press room is based on the theme, EMBRACE, encompassing reflection and rest. These key words are directed at journalists visiting in the press room. "The room will stimulate work, correspondence, meetings, interviews and relaxation. At the same time I want my design to create a calm space after all the strong impressions journalists will have taken in from the various halls, " explains Jens Fager. He has chosen to work with a mixture of beautiful colours in order to provide a cheerful and inspiring setting for the visitor, and he has designed new, temporary furniture just for the installation. His sources of inspiration were function and graphic transformation. Jens Fagers' pieces of furniture in the Raw collection also inspired Fredrik Strömbäck of Streamcreek when he created the graphic profile for Stockholm Furniture Fair and Northern Light Fair 2009. It consists of archetypal icons for the various areas that make up the fair; the green stool - Greenhouse, the yellow lamp - Northern Light Fair, and the table and chair - home and public environments. The graphic programme serves to link the various halls in a clear and unusual way. "Clarity and playfulness have been key starting points for me; I mainly wanted to highlight cheerfulness, " says Jens Fager.
