| Ashok Leyland to Exhibit Cutting-Edge CNG Technology Ashok Leyland, one of the region's leading automotive manufacturers and pioneers of the CNG developments in India, will use NGV India 2009 from 24th to the 26th March as their platform to promote their latest CNG technology and natural gas vehicles. Ashok Leyland will also be using the opportunity of this global CNG forum to present their technical expertise in the international conference programme at NGV India 2009. Ashok Leyland's most recent CNG automotive development is India's first one-litre-per-cylinder, six cylinder CNG engine for buses employing multi point fuel injection (MPFI). The W06DTI 'H' Series CNG engine combines superior power rating (135 kW @ 24000 rpm) with low emissions. This 5.7 litre turbocharged inter-cooled natural gas engine meets Euro IV emission standard, ahead of the mandate in India. NGV India 2009 has attracted the world's component manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers, technology distributors and India's major CNG suppliers and transport operators for Southasia's 1st International exhibition and conference for the natural gas vehicle industry. The conference programme, organized by NGV Network and supported by the Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers (SIAM), will draw together the world's leading experts on CNG and incorporate this expertise with that of the pioneers of India's breath taking expansion into the NGV industry. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Exhibition News :: home page |
