Windjammer Landing named as St Lucia’s Hotel

A luxury Caribbean resort was last week voted St Lucia's Leading Hotel at the World Travel Awards, dubbed the Oscars of the travel industry. Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort & Spa scooped the coveted award at the glittering red carpet awards ceremony in the West Indies after impressing a voting panel of more than 167,000 travel professionals. The 65-acre luxury resort is located in North West St Lucia near Castries and offers 247 suites and villas, all with spectacular views overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The resort is a big hit with celebrities, brides and grooms and families alike and offers a good selection of beach and hillside restaurants, a serenity spa and a nearby golf club. Next year the resort will be celebrating its 20th anniversary.
