Hvac Mobile Green Classroom Cruises Into 2009 AHR Expo

The Partnership for Environmental Leadership, a collaboration of six Green-minded Industry associations, is driving its popular HVAC Mobile Green Classroom onto the Show floor at the 2009 AHR EXPO . Thousands of HVAC/R professionals from around the world will have free access to valuable hands-on learning opportunities during the industry's leading event, January 26-28, 2009 at Chicago's McCormick Place.

Featuring the latest cutting-edge technologies, the HVAC Mobile Green Classroom is an invaluable educational tool for 'going Green.' The training trailer demonstrates new and innovative equipment for HVAC/R professionals while also providing supplemental hands-on training opportunities in conjunction with MCAA's LEED AP training programs and the UA/MSCA's Green Awareness Training and Certification Program.

The HVAC Mobile Green Classroom features innovative mechanical systems that are designed to enhance a building's energy efficiency while decreasing reliance on nonrenewable resources. Some of the green simulators found inside the 40-foot trailer include: Fuel Cell Technologies, Wind Power Generation, Solar Heating Systems, Grey Water Toilet Flushing Systems, Anaerobic Treatment Process, Infiltration Demonstrator, Geothermal System Trainer, Gas-fired Warm Air Heating Demonstrator, Residential Pressure Assist Trainer, Biological Water Treatment Trainer, Heat Pump Trainer.

"The Mobile Green Classroom provides attendees with a great hands-on experience that will help educate them on how to go Green as well as keep them at the leading edge of this critical movement, " said Clay Stevens, President of International Exposition Company, which produces and manages the AHR EXPO.

In addition to the HVAC Green Mobile Classroom, the industry's leading trade associations will present 70 educational sessions and workshops throughout the 2009 AHR EXPO. Topics will range from achieving sustainability and energy reduction to the economics of energy, best practices and the latest trends and techniques in HVAC/R.

The seventh annual AHR EXPO Innovation Awards winners will also be honored during the 2009 AHR EXPO on January 27th. Winners of the Innovation Awards Competition represent the best submissions from the thousands of products on display during the 2009 Show. Honorees span the industrial marketplace in a total of nine product categories ranging from the latest developments in Green technology to the newest building automation tools.
